Buyer's Terms and Conditions


1. Personal Information We Collect
  • 1.1 These Buyer’s Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases made on Piyesa.ph, an online marketplace operated by Piyesa, a company duly organized under Philippine laws.
  • 1.2 By using the Piyesa.ph platform (“Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age and possess full legal capacity to contract under Philippine law.
  • 2. Account Registration
  • 2.1 To purchase through Piyesa.ph, you must register for an account and provide complete, accurate, and current information.
  • 2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • 3. Role of Piyesa
  • 3.1 Piyesa.ph serves exclusively as a marketplace platform. Piyesa does not own, store, or deliver any of the products sold on the Platform.
  • 3.2 All items listed for sale are offered by independent third-party sellers (“Sellers”). By placing an order, you enter into a direct transaction with the Seller.
  • 4. Payment Terms
  • 4.1 Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, GCash, and PayMaya.
  • 4.2 All payments are made to Piyesa. Payment is held in escrow and released to the Seller 14 calendar days after confirmed delivery, unless a dispute is raised.
  • 5. Delivery and Shipping
  • 5.1 Delivery is managed by third-party couriers, arranged and paid for by the Seller.
  • 5.2 The choice of courier is at the Seller’s discretion.
  • 5.3 Risk of loss and title to goods pass to you upon delivery to your designated address in the Philippines.
  • 6. Return and Refund Policy
  • 6.1 You may request a return of any item for any reason within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery.
  • 6.2 To initiate a return, you must notify the Seller through the Platform and request return authorization.
  • 6.3 If the Seller accepts the return, you are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the Seller voluntarily agrees to shoulder the same.
  • 6.4 In case of a disagreement over return shipping costs, you may escalate the matter to Piyesa for mediation.
  • 6.5 Upon successful return, Piyesa will process your refund within five (5) business days, using the original payment method.
  • 7. Dispute Resolution
  • 7.1 Piyesa serves as an initial mediator in all buyer-seller disputes, including issues concerning item non-delivery, product misrepresentation, or return conditions.
  • 7.2 If a party is dissatisfied with Piyesa's mediation outcome, they may pursue resolution through arbitration or appropriate courts in accordance with Philippine law.
  • 8. Prohibited Items and Restrictions
  • 8.1 You shall not purchase or attempt to purchase any item that is:
  • Prohibited under Philippine laws;
  • In violation of any applicable regulation (e.g., customs, intellectual property, or safety laws);
  • Restricted or banned by courier services (e.g., hazardous materials, certain types of batteries, flammable items).
  • 9. Product Descriptions and Inspections
  • 9.1 Sellers are required to provide accurate, complete, and transparent descriptions of all products.
  • 9.2 You are expected to inspect delivered items promptly. Requests for returns must be submitted within the 15-day return window.
  • 10. Limitation of Liability
  • 10.1 Piyesa is not responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, or condition of items listed by Sellers.
  • 10.2 Piyesa disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding any product purchased via the Platform.
  • 10.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Piyesa’s total liability arising from any transaction shall be limited to the actual amount paid by the Buyer for the relevant product.
  • 10.4 Piyesa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • 11. Account Suspension and Termination
  • 11.1 Piyesa reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you:
  • Engage in fraudulent activity;
  • Violate these Terms;
  • Abuse return or refund policies;
  • Repeatedly refuse deliveries or initiate false claims.
  • 11.2 You may appeal any suspension by contacting Piyesa Support through the Help Center.
  • 12. Changes to Terms
  • 12.1 Piyesa may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform with a new effective date.
  • 12.2 Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
  • 13.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
  • 13.2 Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be exclusively filed in the competent courts of the Philippines.
